Dr Kranthi K.Nasani, BDS (India, 2002), MSc Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry (Manchester), Cert.Implantology (Salford) Msc Dental Implantology (Edge Hill Uni) GDC: 145446

Dr. Kranthi Kumar Nasani,(KK.) graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2002. After completing his Rotatory Internship in the College of Dental Sciences and Hospital he gained a wide range of experience in General Dental Practice with a special interest in Surgical Dentistry and Endodontics.

He registered with the GDC in 2008 inspired by the modern yet conservative and preventive way of practicing dentistry in the UK. Kranthi joined Newton Dental in September 2008 and continued his training gaining an MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from Manchester University and a Certificate in Implantology from Salford University.

Kranthi is particularly focused in the specialised area of Dental Implantology and is establishing this as his main area of practice in our fully equipped, purpose build implant centre. He takes real pride and personal satisfaction in delivering the highest standards of treatment to his patients and always strives to provide excellent care and a fantastic dental experience. Kranthi also has certification in provision of conscious sedation.



Kranthi likes to socialise, and travel within the UK and abroad and keeping fit.

Tulasi Nasani, BDS (India 2007), GDC: 240927

Dr Tulasi Nasani graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences in India 2008. After completing her Dental Internship, she moved to the UK in 2011. Tulasi has been doing both NHS and Private Dentistry since 2012 and has also done one year certificate training in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in 2017. Tulasi is currently doing a PG Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy.

Tulasi strives to deliver Beautiful Smiles to her patients as she strongly believes it plays an integral role in the overall confidence of an individual. Therefore, this has driven her to further improve her qualifications.



Besides dentistry, Tulasi loves spending time with family and friends and travelling. She also enjoys cooking and exploring different cuisines.

Dr Venkatesh Ankam BDS (India 2004), PG Dip Endodontics GDC: 176418

Venkatesh joined the practice in July 2012 having previously worked at a dental practice in Warrington.

He completed his Dental Internship from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in the year 2004-05 and achieved his UK GDC registration in the year 2009.

He has worked as a General Dental Practitioner in the NHS for the past 3 years. He has a special interest in Endodontics and completed a PG Diploma in Endodontics and a PG certificate in Restorative Dentistry.

Venkat believes that to be a good dentist, understanding the patient`s needs and providing them with quality and ethical treatment is essential.



He enjoys most outdoor sports and activities. He likes adventure sports as well.

Dr Matt Jones BDS (Liverpool 2018) GDC: 277168

Matt qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2018. He since worked on the Wirral before starting work at Newton Dental in September 2019.

Matt has an interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He completed a composite course in Europe August 2018 and enjoys providing all sorts of composite bonding or veneers.

Matt completed Invisalign training in November 2018. This is a way to move and reposition teeth to provide better function and aesthetics to the smile. He is able to take digital scans of your teeth and customise your smile to exactly how you want it whilst ensuring correct bite and function is maintained.

His favourite treatment is the ‘ABC’ protocol. This involves aligning the teeth, whitening them and then using composite to add the finishing touches for a complete smile makeover to give patients their dream smile!

Matt has completed a post-graduate certification in Cosmetic Dentistry & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in 2020.



Matt is an avid Man United fan, enjoys playing golf and enjoys holidaying all over the world.

Dr Laura Pumford BDS (Liverpool 2010) GDC: 5869

Laura started her dental career in 1997, qualifying as a dental nurse and later qualified as a dental hygienist in 2001. Laura went on to study dentistry and graduated from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2010. After a year working in community dentistry, she came into general practice and has worked in both NHS and private practice since. Due to her dental hygiene, she is keen on preventing dental diseases and helps patients with this. Laura has helped many nervous patients over the years and built their confidence by spending time making them feel at ease. In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending it with her daughter and another enjoyment Laura has, is watching live music with friends and family. 

Dr William Bingham BDS (Liverpool 2022) GDC: 302282

William graduated from the university of Liverpool in 2022 with honours and a distinction in restorative dentistry. Originally from Halifax in West Yorkshire, William enjoys all aspects of general dental care, with a particular interest in restorative an aesthetic dentistry. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing football, and is a devout Bradford City fan. 

Dr Hira Hamid, GDC: 307569

Hira qualified at Gandhari University in Pakistan in 2011 and joined Newton Dental in November 2023. In her spare time, Hira enjoys all aspects of Interior Design and has a keen eye for fine detail in this area and within her work in Dentistry. 

Dr Vijay Anbukumar DDM (Lithuania 2022) GDC: 303422

Vijay started Newton Dental in October 2024 and has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, as well as Dental Implants. Vijay enjoys music and formula 1.

Dr Giju George MBBS, MD FCARCSI. Consultant Anaesthetist. GMC: 6038076

Giju is our consultant medical anaesthetist with a special interested in dental anaesthesia. He works in the dental hospitals in Liverpool providing intravenous sedation and general anaesthesia for a range of dental procedures. We are very fortunate to have his expertise in providing our intravenous sedation in a controlled, safe environment. Giju is also a council member of the Association of Dental Anaesthetist. He lives with his young family on the Wirral.

Ceri Cameron GDC: 185345

Ceri has over 17 years experience in the dental field having qualified at the University of Liverpool in 2009 as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She has worked over this time in the NHS, Private and Hospital sector gaining a wealth of experience. Ceri regularly attends courses to enhance her continual professional development and ensure her knowledge and treatments are always at the forefront of dentistry.

As well as being able to provide restorative treatment Ceri is committed to providing patient specific preventative and educational services, ensuring patients know the best way to improve and maintain good oral health.



Ceri keeps fit with horse riding and walking. She has a keen interest in photography and loves spending time with her 2 children.

Kathryn Carey GDC: 150865

Kathryn started her career as a dental nurse before qualifying in 2012 as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. Kathryn enjoys spending time with her partner and 2 children, as well as socialising and taking her daughters to their hobbies. Kathryn is also keen on reading and settling down watching a fun, old, true crime documentary. 

Naira Gasparetto GDC: 295015

Naira joined the team in September 2022. Naira is amazing with her patients and has a lot of time for each and every individual she sees. She is passionate about Oral Health and is always on hand to help her team members. Naira is busy outside of work with her children and exploring new places.

Rachel Collins: Practice Administrator GDC: 140204

Rachel joined Newton Dental in 2007 and gained further qualifications in Oral Health Care in 2009. She has completed her Implantology qualification at ICE Implant Centre of Excellence, and has a wealth of knowledge in Implantology after working closely with Dr Nasani for over 10 years in our Implant Centre.  Rachel's role has progressed into a practice administrator and her care and compassion for the role, radiates. 

Rachel enjoys socialising with friends and relaxing with her cats, family and her three children.

Gemma Whittle GDC: 204403

Gemma qualified in 2009 with her NVQ level 3. She is an outgoing and dynamic member of the team who loves to make people laugh. Gemma enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a keen interest in Invisalign Treatment, which she closely assists in when working with Dr Tulasi Nasani, one of our Invisalign providers. In her spare time, Gemma enjoys bird watching and listening to music with her family. Gemma also has an interest in tractors and enjoys visiting tractor shows with her friends and learning about the amazing technology behind them.

Naomi Van-Berkel: Dental Nurse, Treatment Coordinator and IT and Social Media Marketer GDC: 284279

Naomi qualified in 2019 with her NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing and joined us here in 2020. She is extremely organised and enthusiastic and is very eager to learn new skills and develop her knowledge. Naomi is always on hand to help other staff members and her lovely nature is very welcoming for our patients.



Naomi loves spending time with her son, dog and family and is a food lover and enjoys cooking for everyone at home.

Daniel Williams GDC: 298340

Danny joined us in 2019 as a dental receptionist but decided he would like to become a Dental Nurse and he completed his NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing in 2021. Danny is also skilled at making bleaching trays and night guards in-house for our patients, using our advanced in-house technology. Danny is a fantastic asset to the team and always has a positive and cheerful attitude.

Outside of work Danny enjoys going to the gym and learning about exotic animals.

Layla Syed GDC: 312236

Layla joined the team in 2022 whilst working towards her Level 3 Diploma in dental nursing at Manchester University Dental Hospital and later qualified in June 2023. Layla enjoys assisting our cosmetic dentist, in Composite Bonding procedures and learning new skills. Layla is a dog lover who also enjoys cooking in her spare time.

Claire Atherton: Head Nurse GDC: 175222

Claires role involves supporting our team and championing a smooth running of the practice.

Claire is a very bubbly character and loves to socialise and spend time with her 2 children and her dog.

Sarah Holland GDC: 312106

Sarah joined us in March 2022 while working towards her Dental Nursing apprenticeship and later qualified in June 2023. Sarah is a motivated individual and keen to learn new skills in the dental industry. Sarah, in her spare time does crocheting and creates some amazing designs for all the team.

Georgia Winstanley

Georgia joined the team in April 2024 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. Georgia is a kind-hearted character which shows in her work at Newton Dental and has a keen interest in Implantology.

Sophie Taylor

Sophie joined the team in June 2024 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship.  Sophie loves a good film and a book to wind down with after a busy day. Sophie is interested in many aspects of dentistry and is keen to develop her skills and progress after her dental nursing apprenticeship.

Keira Samuel

Keira joined the team in June 2024 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. Keira loves to listen to music and starts her day with her headphones in, on her commute to work. Keira is a caring individual who has a soft nature which really put her patients at ease.

Stacey Buck

Stacey joined the team in March 2023 and is a Technology Wizard and is a great asset to the team. Stacey is a bubbly character, and it brightens up our reception. Outside of work Stacey enjoys spending time with friends and family and is a food lover.

Rachel Catherall

Rachel joined the team in March 2023 and is always on hand to help others and is highly organised and keeps everything in order on reception. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys taking her dog for a nice long walk and enjoying the nature.
